These two!! My time with Anne-Thomas and Kyle was nothing short of wonderful. Their story began at their college in Birmingham and though they were both from out of state, they saw no better fit for their wedding day than the city that brought them together and where they would continue their lives after marriage.
We celebrated their ceremony at the beautiful Third Presbyterian Church where Shelby Willoughby captured the pure JOY that this joining was for them perfectly. Guests then headed to the Birmingham Museum of Art for a cocktail hour in the garden and a reception awaited them inside. The new Mr. and Mrs. Bowman and their wedding party headed to The Overlook, one of the most gorgeous views of Birmingham, for some stunning sunset photos. This is also the same spot Kyle proposed! The newlyweds and their guests danced the rest of the night away and celebrated big.
Anne-Thomas wanted to keep the design very clean and elegant. With an abundance of white florals, greenery, gold, draping, and subtle touches of blue – we did just that! A personal favorite touch I loved was the string lighting that draped reception space and brought a real wow factor.
Planning with Anne-Thomas, Kyle, and their families was truly such a fun experience and full of so much love and excitement for this day. These two couldn’t be crazier about each other (just look at the ceremony photos) and it was SUCH an honor to walk through this season with them. Mr. and Mrs. Bowman, I am forever thankful to know you and have shared in this special season with you. Cheers to a lifetime of love and happiness!
